Reports are that if Martinez passes his physical he could sign as early as wednesday. In the last week or two many teams have been looking at Pedro Martinez. This latest batch of interest brings up the question, where is Martinez going to play the rest of the year? Currently according to sports illustrated in the past couple of days The Rangers, Brewers and Cardinals have joined the Yankees, Cubs and Rays in the interest to have Martinez pitch on their team. laobserved.com is reporting that the Dodgers could use the money saved from Manny Ramirez Suspension to pay for Pedro Martinez.
