 A-Rod off crutches and about to begin Rehab
arod Alex Rodriguez was scheduled to toss aside his crutches Saturday in Vail, Colo., less than a week after he underwent arthroscopic hip surgery to repair a torn labrum. A-Rod spoke with Joe Girardi on Friday, giving the manager the latest update on his rehab program. Girardi said Rodriguez was supposed to start doing some exercises in a swimming pool in the next day or two, though the manager was unclear precisely what A-Rod would be doing in the water.
